Barista Prima Italian Roast 24ct

(2 customer reviews)

$17.50

It’s no secret that some of the best coffees are crafted by Italians. Barista Prima Italian Roast is no exception to this. This dark roast k-cup has slight flavour notes of berries and ripe fruit. These flavour notes are pure italian tradition right from the coffee houses in Italy. This dark roast is bold but ideally balanced for a great coffee flavour every time you brew a cup. Barista Prima Italian Roast has a slight smokiness to it, but finishes off clean and bright. Creating dark roast coffees is truly an art, and clearly Barista Prima has mastered it. If you like flavourful dark roasts (and who doesn’t?!) then this will be a match made in heaven for you and your Keurig brewer.

I am not biassed to this coffee when I say it’s the best. It simply is, I don’t need to get paid to comment on how damn good it tastes. Every other coffee, every dark and every bold roast I’ve ever tried don’t seem to compare with the amount of richness that’s in this coffee, it usually sells out for a reason. If you like DARK Coffee but are tired of each coffee that tastes the same or similar to eachother? Try This one. (But stay away from House Blend).

Changing my review from 2015 to this 2020 one, I won’t order Barista Prima anymore, its too much like playing the lottery and losing more than winning, it’s very frustrating. I ordered more than 3 boxes of this, and in the past, rarely, the coffee would taste Ashy/acidic or Light and ‘off’, if people know what I mean when a Dark roasted coffee just isn’t its usual bold normal self.

Barista Prima coffee now? I tried brewing 8 Barista Prima’s the exact same way with the same sugar and same hazelnut I always use, and every single cup tasted like absolute garbage, with ashy aftertaste. I know its not my tastebuds because the coffee I replaced Barista Prima with still tastes exactly as I know it to taste. I don’t want to wake up in the morning, make a crappy coffee and have to give up having coffee because none of the K-Cups even taste normal. I feel like all the 24CT boxes are all affected and will taste horrible and that none of it is salvageable, so I give up on this brand.
